After the rains, the sun is shining and I swear I am hearing the photosynthesis working its magic.
Laundry to hang, birds to watch, asparagus to pick…what a day!

Yes Sandi and here’s hoping this day is likewise a good one for us both as well. How’s that grand baby coming along? I’m sure you never get tired of delivering your own daughters π

Indeed LouAnn! It’s a short season, but we basically have asparagus for B-L-D while it’s on.

“Asparagus to pick.” I am so jealous! I have to wait another year. Growing asparagus takes patience! I can hear the photosynthesis through your words and know so well the look and smell of a spring day when plants are fairly oozing from the ground! Enjoy!! – Kaye

It will be worth the wait Kaye! We had some asparagus for dinner last night π I’m experimenting with a deep mulch this year in hopes of doing less mid season work…we’ll see.

Hi Anna, It’s a perfect day for a freshly planted garden, and will be for the next couple of days, so I wish my seeds were in.
And now, of course, I’ve got the Beatles running through my head. Could be worse…
Enjoy your photosynthetic symphony; )
And have a Happy Mother’s Day!!
